Ugobe Pleo Robot Dino available for Pre-Order Print E-mail
There where many delays, but finally Ugobe announces that the Pleo is available for pre-order now.

Pleo has it what it takes to become a major toy. Pleo is modeled after a one-week old Camarasaurus (or long neck) dinosaur, the best-known Jurassic sauropod found in North America.
Like all UGOBE Life Forms, Pleo will evolve through life stages and develop a unique personality based on interaction with his owner.
Ugobe Pleo Robot Dino available for Pre-Order

You can pre-order Pleo for $349, which is quite some money for a toy. The other bad news is that you have to wait until October to receive a Pleo.
Besides on the Ugobe store, Pleo will be available for pre-order on Amazon.com and other online retailer.

If you had subscribed to the Ugobe Pleo mailing list, then you have received a special first hatch coupon code. It allows you to pre-order Pleo and it will arrive 2 weeks earlier. It will also come with a gold First Hatch identity card.

Ugobe launched a community site for Pleo owners at Pleoword.com.

Pleo specs:
Each Pleo will have significant technology and processing power, including two 32-bit microprocessors, four 8-bit subprocessors, 14 motors, more than 100 custom-designed gears, 38 sensors, a camera-based vision system, two speakers, and multiple data ports (Mini USB, SD card slot, infrared transceiver).
